Group Life Insurance

Group life insurance is coverage available to an individual because he or she is a member of or an employee of the group policyholder. The group policyholder may pay part or all of the premium. The group policy may provide minimum limits over which the individual can purchase higher limits. The group policyholder collects the premiums for any extra coverage and forwards them to the insurance carrier. These carriers actively provide different types of group life insurance:
