PF&M Analysis Research Service

PF&M Analysis Research Service
for Agents and Brokers

Do you have a question? Are you having a disagreement in your office regarding a claim, rule interpretation or coverage issue?

As a subscriber to PF&M you have access to the Q&A service. With Q&A, you can fax, mail or e-mail requests for basic coverage and classification clarification at no charge. The same care that goes into the preparation of the PF&M coverage analysis is used in finding answers to your questions. The answers are not legal opinions but they are based on the language of the policy and circumstances presented. Note that these are basic clarifications. If more extensive information is needed, customized research may be needed.

A non-subscriber to PF&M can receive Q&A services for a fee. Fax, mail or e-mail the request and a fee quote will be provided, based on the amount of research and time needed to provide the information.

Customized Research

Specific questions
Some questions involve time that goes beyond the basic Q&A services. Rough Notes can still handle the research and provide the answers you need in a complete and timely fashion. Although the opinions expressed are not legal opinions, all will be supported and explained based on coverage forms and circumstances provided. Prices are negotiated based on the anticipated time needed to research and provide a complete answer.

Carrier-Specific Product Comparison and Analysis Rough Notes will provide the same care used in PF&M coverage analysis to any carrier’s products and produce detailed coverage analysis along with comparisons to an ISO or AAIS coverage form to highlight differences and sales opportunities. This service is available for agencies who want to provide carrier difference insights to their sales force. Information can be provided online, on a CD-ROM or as a paper document. Prices are negotiated based on the products to research and the estimated time frame.

Product Development,
Comparison and Analysis

Product Development
Do you know the product you want to develop and need a coverage specialist to craft the coverage part or endorsement? The editors of PF&M have the experience and the knowledge to work with your team in researching and designing the coverage form that fits the niche or customer you are after.

Product Comparisons
Are you ready to launch a new product and want to clearly identify coverage differences between various coverage forms? Let the editors of PF&M provide the same care they use in PF&M coverage analysis to any carrier’s products and produce customized detailed coverage analysis. The comparison can be between different carrier’s forms or the standard ISO or AAIS coverage forms.

These comparisons will highlight differences that bring out the sales benefits. Our editors will work closely with you to make sure we prepare information you can use.

Product Analysis
Are you interested in a customized coverage analysis that you can share with your sales force? PF&M editors analyze most ISO and AAIS coverage forms and can do the same for your unique product. This analysis can be used to train employees and agents. The coverage analysis can resemble a complete section of the PF&M and include quizzes, brochures, application guidance, underwriting, rating and more. We will work together to develop the analysis you want.
