PLUS 1997 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

The Professional Liability Underwriting Society's 10th Annual International Conference will be held November 12-14, at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in Chicago, Illinois.

The registration fee for PLUS members is $640 until November 1, and $690 thereafter. The nonmembers' registration fee is $780 before November 1, and $840 thereafter.

The registration fee includes:

* the opening keynote address by Maurice Greenberg, chairman and CEO of AIG, followed by an insurance/economic debate featuring speaker/consultant Harry Dent and futurist/author Barry Minkin, and moderated by Myron Picoult, an executive with Wasserstein Perella Securities, Inc.

* an opening night reception at the Sheraton on Wednesday, and the traditional off-site reception--always at a unique venue--on Thursday

* keynote luncheon featuring Captain James Lovell, commander of Apollo 13

* Friday's keynote address by Marlin Fitzwater, press secretary to Presidents Reagan and Bush

* breakfast buffets on Thursday and Friday

* educational sessions on the Year 2000 crisis, Internet regulatory issues, architects and engineers, medical malpractice litigation, lawyers professional liability, managed care, the global market, mutual fund and investment advisor E&O, bad faith liability, employment practices liability, and securities litigation.

Conference registrations as well as hotel reservations are made through PLUS headquarters. This "one-stop" registration process requires individuals to make hotel reservations at the same time that they register for the conference.

Hotel choices are: Sheraton Hotel and Towers (conference headquarters)--Standard room, $160 single, $177 double; Towers--$210 single, $227 double; Hyatt Regency--$155 single or double.
