IBSL (formerly known as International Brokerage & Surplus Lines) is pleased to announce that Mike Reiter has joined the firm as a principal. Mike brings a wealth of experience to IBSL having previously served as VP of Operations at Superior Access Insurance Services. Prior to SAIS, Mike was a Managing Partner at Iroquois Group serving as the CEO of Iroquois Southeast. As a third generation insurance veteran, Mr. Reiter joked that, "working in the insurance industry is a genetic flaw in the men in my family." Mike Reiter now serves as IBSL's Chief Financial Officer and as its Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for enrolling retail agencies as producers for IBSL's programs and facilities.

IBSL is a Program Administrator providing retail insurance agencies with "INSURANCE PROGRAM SOLUTIONS" for trucking, transportation and technology risks by offering domestic and international Trucking, Transportation and Technology markets along with other Specialty markets to retail insurance agencies on a National basis. Professional Program Insurance Brokerage (PPIB) is pleased to announce that Alan Preston has joined the company as the Vice President of Operations.

Preston was formerly a Corporate Vice President for Chevron Corporation responsible for Global Human Resources. Throughout his career at Chevron, Preston developed strategies, policies and programs for a global diversified workforce. In addition he was a member of Chevron's Executive Leadership Team which was responsible for managing Chevron's Global Operations. Mike Driscoll has joined Crump Insurance Services' wholesale brokerage division serving as a Vice President- Broker in the Houston property group. Mr. Driscoll comes to Crump from London American Risk Specialists, a surplus lines broker/MGA, where he served as Executive Vice President of the property and casualty division for the past 20 years. He has spent his entire career specializing in Property and Inland Marine business; his expertise includes both company underwriting and wholesale brokering.

Prior to London American, Mr. Driscoll served in various capacities for industry leaders Fireman's Fund (where he started the inland marine department), Home Insurance Company, Swett & Crawford, and Baccala and Shoop (where he formed the commercial property department). Mr. Driscoll graduated from the University of Texas with a BBA degree in insurance and finance.

RISC Adds Chief Sales Officer

Shawn Fabors recently joined RISC as Chief Sales Officer having worked in the financial services and insurance industry since 1992.

Prior to joining RISC, Shawn served as the Territory Sales Director of a leading national property and casualty insurance company. During his tenure, Shawn was consistently ranked in the top 10 percent of his peer group nationally for new business growth and renewal retention. He also held nominated positions on advisory groups providing insight and ideas to the Executive Management Team.

Shawn began his insurance career in 1998 working for a large well-known international property and casualty insurance carrier. The first seven years he held positions of Branch Manager and Business Development Manager of the Premium Finance Operation. Ultimately, he was promoted to the Regional Manager of Financial Institutions. Shawn also spent two years as a Senior Broker for a national wholesale insurance brokerage firm based in Dallas.

Shawn is a 1992 graduate of Northeastern State University with a BA in Finance. He resides in Plano, TX and enjoys golfing and boating.
